What makes our products different?
Most septic, AWTS or greywater treatment products add bacteria or enzymes to make up for low bacteria populations. While we do provide specialty bacteria, we know that the underlying cause of most wastewater issues is poor biological conditions within the system that kill the bacteria necessary for waste breakdown.

How our products help after you’ve pumped out
When your septic tank is pumped out, the sludge is removed from the bottom of your tank. Whilst this will make more room in your tank, the sludge at the bottom is where the beneficial bacteria necessary for waste digestion live. Removing sludge with a pump out isn’t bad for your septic system, but what can happen is that too much of the beneficial bacteria are removed and this will impact your system’s ability to digest waste and function properly.
Inside your septic tank there’s a delicate ecosystem that needs to be in balance to function properly. The bacteria populations are consistent with the waste needed to be digested and are able to overcome any negative influences such as harsh cleaning chemicals. If after a pump out your system isn’t functioning as it did before, it’s because this ecosystem is no longer in balance.
After a pump out there will certainly be some bacteria left in the tank, but they may not be able to repopulate quickly enough to digest new waste. If they’re unable to digest waste efficiently your tank will fill up and you will be calling for the next pump out sooner than expected. This leads to an increasingly frequent cycle of pump outs and your system becomes expensive to maintain. This is something we see often and are regularly called upon to fix.
